Oct 2024: Embracing & Pushing Through Crucial Change

The power and intensity of the Wood Dragon Year comes to a climax with the clash month of the Wood Dog (Jia Chen).
October’s Wood Dog Month (October 8 - November 6) is a culmination of the intensity of the mighty Wood Dragon, whose foundational core of potential deep healing has underpinned the overarching energy of 2024; the year having been an incredibly potent opportunity for the excavation, awareness and subsequent transmutation of deep-seated wounds, trauma and lingering stagnant energy.
Immediately preceding the Wood Dog clash was a powerful reset opportunity prior to October’s clashing Wood Dog Month - the Annular Solar Eclipse on October 2/3. Being an Annular “Ring of Fire” Eclipse emanating the imagery of fiery transformation, this was akin to the Phoenix arising - further blazing the reset opportunity of the Solar Eclipse.
Making this an extremely rare eclipse - hence multiplying its potency - is the phenomenon of the extra “mini-moon”, an asteroid (2024 PT5) momentarily captured into the Earth’s orbit from around September 29 - November 25. With this increase in lunar energy, we will encounter stronger emotions as the moon waxes towards the Full Moon on October 17, which we can use to further unveil the deepest level of of inner-work for this 1st year of Period 9.
From the perspective of energy flow - coming out of the mirror-like reflective nature of September’s Water Rooster energy, we now encounter the Direct Clash energy between the monthly Wood Dog with the annual Wood Dragon. With the awareness, knowingness & clarity of September’s qi, we can now utilise the disruption and slowdown expected in October to tone and balance our personal desire, motivation & expectation that lie at the core of our individual purpose.
The Dog / Dragon clash is a “Tomb Clash” - signifying an opening of Pandora’s Box of sorts, where our deepest and most embedded inner seeds, truth or karma are revealed. If we are able to honestly see these as what they are (instead of being blinded by our egoic defences), we can then use these truths to temper our desires and motivation. With this, we can straighten any ignorant misalignment that cause us to veer off our soul path and that if left unaddressed, will continue to hamper our ability to be at our best.

On the more day-to-day basis, we can capitalise on October’s energy of disruption and change to materialise the remaining core changes, realignment and restructuring that need to be concluded, for a more cohesive path forward from 2025. This can include the realignment of relationship dynamics, the restructuring of organisations and overhaul of systems.
This is indeed a powerful month, climaxing the potency of the 2024’s Wood Dragon. While outwardly disruptive - resulting in obstacles, delays or even earth-related phenomena - this is really an incredible opportunity for a crucial & much-needed slowdown in order to heal, transform and align our personal energy.

On our September calendar was the INNER WEALTH, OUTER ABUNDANCE: Elevate Your Vibration, Manifest Your Dreams workshop on Saturday, September 7, led by Breathwork, Hypnotherapist & Coach Jolston Ng. It was a packed session of information, practical tools & energy-shifting methods to elevate one’s personal energy!
In between, Jessie and myself travelled Down Under to Australia. It was also a research trip into the landforms and sacred sites there, namely at the famed Ayers Rock also known indigenously as Uluru. With the blessings of the energies there, we managed to share the sacred energy of Uluru online through INNER CHILD. ANCESTRY, AND THE POWER OF ULURU: A Healing Journey on September 17; for which, we are very grateful for the opportunity.
Meanwhile, our hallmark wealth workshop ELEVATE YOUR WEALTH returned this year from September 26-28… and timely! With 2025’s bumpy outlook, it is imperative to emphasise cash-flow ASAP before the going gets tough in upcoming years, especially from the perspective of taking the responsibility for personal energy elevation.
Once again, Jolston Ng will kick-off the coming month’s schedule - for October it is the QUANTUM ENERGY MASTERCLASS on Saturday/Sunday, October 5 & 6. This is a full 2-day practical/hands-on masterclass, where Jolston will guide participants through breathwork, self-hypnosis, Kundalini Reiki, Medical QiGong & Energy Healing.
Finally…it will be time for a journey 3-years in the making! THE SOUL’S JOURNEY NEPAL 2024 will begin on October 11, bringing participants on a manifestation journey throughout Nepal while exploring the spiritual core and Feng Shui contours of beautiful Nepal. It has been such a blessed process planning for and putting together this trip…we’re truly excited it’s finally here!
Wrapping up October will be another one of our flagship classes, TAROT MASTERCLASS from October 26 -28, which will bring participants in-depth into the profound world of Tarot Cards and their enchanting divination prowess.
