OCTOBER 2025: FIRE HORSE AWAKENING

October opens with the Fire Dog (Bing Xu) month (October 8 – November 6), the final month of Autumn — the checkpoint month of autumn before the year pivots toward its closing season. The Dog itself carries the energy of the last transformation of the year, wrapping up an autumn that has triggered realizations and opened opportunities.

Transformation always calls for courage: letting go (testing detachment), embracing the unknown (testing fear), and sitting with discomfort (testing patience). Many underestimate this gift of this stage, but as we move deep into the early heart of Period 9, it becomes critical.

The Fire Dog reacts neutrally with the annual Wood Snake, yet it sparks the first wave of Fire Horse energy – the Grand Duke of 2026! That ignition grows stronger across October and will be reinforced by November — giving us a preview of the momentum ahead.

There is strong emphasis and activation for transformation in the astrology of this month. Planetary movements point to a sweeping “roll through” of opportunities for significant change, beginning in late September and continuing until early November. The skies are aligned to keep the pressure of the “transformation cauldron” at its peak, ensuring that focused and continued innovation is the key to forward growth.

Growth this month is rooted in transformation itself, but it is not just mental or external — it is anchored in the heart. The heart is the seat of the soul’s journey, and it is here that we are called to center ourselves. By staying grounded in the heart, transformation becomes aligned with the deeper truth of who we are, rather than just surface-level adjustments.

This month’s energy also makes available something greater than normal change. It opens the door for leaps — transcendent, rapid movement that can accelerate soul growth and ascension. But this force is precise. It will not support action driven by fear or greed. Only when intentions are anchored in growth, clarity, and alignment; will these leaps take form and carry us forward.

October doesn’t call for hesitation — it asks for full-hearted participation. The uncertain and uncomfortable are the exact thresholds we are meant to walk through. Every release clears space for what is true. Every risk, when aligned with the heart, strengthens our path. The Fire Dog’s checkpoint is indeed a magical, alchemical bridge — a blazing passage that tests us so we can later step into the 2026 Fire Horse year with courage and strength.

September was about trimming and clearing space for growth. With the Wood Rooster month and two eclipses — the Total Lunar Eclipse (Sept 7/8) and the Solar Eclipse (Sept 21/22) — transformation was both highlighted and accelerated. Many of you joined Eclipse Portal of the Serpentine Phoenix and Renewed Horizons, where we worked with karmic release and reset. Ancient Sounds, Modern Release on Sept 12 used the Six Healing Sounds to balance body and spirit, while Gua Sha for Detox & Release in the Fire Years on Sept 19 offered a practical tool to prepare for the catalytic Fire Horse and Fire Goat years.

Finally, our special program highlighted the key upcoming years of 2026/27 - Phoenix & Sacred Flame on Sept 27 & 28 guided us into the rare twin years of 2026/27 with clarity and focus. Not surprisingly, our founder – Jessie Lee – has extended the workshop into a full, bonus day of class in November which will go deep into concepts of spiritual alchemy.

October continues the theme of deep inner work while opening new doors of exploration.

From the 2nd half of this month… it will be time for our annual The Soul’s Journey expeditions! The team will be leading THE SOUL’S JOURNEY TIBET — JOURNEY THROUGH HELLFIRE PART 2 from Oct 18 – Nov 1, a flagship journey into Tibet’s powerful landscapes, where outer exploration and inner transformation come together in profound ways.
