FEBRUARY 2025: OPENING THE WOOD SNAKE YEAR IN DEEP GRATITUDE

Finally, after an incredible ramp-up over the past few months, we’re officially greeting the slithering Wood Snake…

The Wood Snake Year is now here, beginning at 10:21 PM on February 3 with the roaring Earth Tiger Month (from February 3 - March 4), which presents some interesting challenges (as well as opportunities!) as we officially enter into the Wood Snake Year. As such, it is necessary to have a depth of understanding of these challenges; unraveling and approaching them in the wisest and most strategic way that will pave the way productively forward for the rest of the year.

The most important question to ask ourself as we officially start the year is whether we are capitalising on the build-up of growth and expansion that we have been building in the past few years - following from the Covid pandemic - to propel us into this year; one that is overall lacking stability and chaotic.

Or are we still limiting ourself based on past achievements (or failures), accumulation (attachments) or perhaps hanging-on to an expired bond or common interest built previously but is now no longer relevant? Freeing ourself up from these blockages will enable us to capture opportunities as compared to being rocked & thrown around by the Wood Snake’s turbulence.

The relationship between the annual Snake (Si) with the monthly Tiger (Yin) presents psychological challenges with the effects of not only a “Harm”, but also an “Ungrateful Punishment”. In a nutshell, the events and circumstances unfolding throughout the month will test us on concepts of gratitude, expectations as well as true generosity/selflessness.

Staying open to unexpected occurrences, being flexible with expectations and coming from an honest, selfless perspective will be wise ways to masterfully manoeuvre through the month.

At their core, both “Harm” and “Ungrateful Punishment” relationships occurring together tests the degree of our true abundance and growth mindset. This is a practical checklist of the types of general scenarios that can be triggered this Earth Tiger (Wu Yin) month:

• Are we being too judgemental in our expectations on how others’ should behave or are we able to appreciate situations and opportunities provided by others that allow us to grow and further flourish?
• Do we expect immediate or tangible rewards for every service or help rendered?
• Are we not able to see the forest for the trees, that is, lose sight of the bigger picture because we are being too narrow-minded, picky or focussed on the immediate?

The New Moon kicking-off the Lunar New Year (and ringing-in the cultural Chinese New Year celebrations) on January 29 provided the propulsion of highly-charged energy - abrupt & volatile - matching the overall unstable vibes of the year. This is opportune, however, for those who are ready to capitalise on these “quantum holes” to leap forward on their path.

On a personal level, this energetic shake-up can also enable us to further (and ideally, completely) break-free this year from whatever lingering constructs, past obligation or long-term commitment we were bonded to, especially prior to 2024.

The 1st Full Moon of the year (famously known as Chap Goh Mei) on February 12 - celebrated as a complementary foundational energy for the new year, emphasising relationships, family and the overall human bond - also illuminates strong clarity & mental focus.

This is auspicious being the 1st Full Moon for the year, whose luminescent rays also connect to the fast-moving & transcendent energy of Period 9. As lunar energies on the overall reflect our inner world, thoughts and emotions - these aspects are thus empowered, excitingly enhancing manifestation capabilities for the year.

The February Earth Tiger month is a crucial kick-off that can either align us to the opportunistic potentials of the upcoming volatile year or trap us into its “pitfalls”. As such, an open-hearted, skilful manoeuvring through its tests of gratitude and an abundance mindset will enable us to maximise our optimism and flow. This, in turn, will aid us in capitalising on the Wood Snake energies & opportunities within the chaos of the year.

January was a busy-busy time for all things to greet the official arrival of the Wood Snake Year. In the midst of various consultations, corporate engagements and private events - from clientele like CIMB, Isetan, Cle de Peau Beaute, Parkroyal, INC Mall, Cloudflare etc for annual talks & assortment of readings on Bazi, Face & Palm, Colour Sand, Tarot etc - we were all indeed running a tight schedule!

Workshop-wise, January kicked-off with our annual Feng Shui & Astrology talk by our founder, sponsored by our long-term partner J GROUP. JESSIE LEE’S ASTROLOGY TALK 2025: Finding Clarity Through Chaos was held on January 4 (English) and January 5 (Cantonese). These much-anticipated sessions looked deep beyond any standard annual update, with our founder - Jessie Lee presenting a ton of info; so much so that an additional session was held through FB Live on Jan 8!

The highlight of our workshop programming was of course POWER UP 2025 from January 18-20 serving-up in-depth & specialised application methods to personalise the Wood Snake energy in terms of astrology & powerful Feng Shui, linked via the potency of Date Selection. As expected, the updates and info require more session(s) beyond the planned dates, with an additional session already scheduled for Sunday, Feb 16.

Meanwhile, in the midst of a rather frantic remainder of February (of CNY-related events), our attention is turning to the finalising of our outstanding line-up of special offerings for MARCH 2025:
